Chris Stinson is a professional AEA actor from the Washington, D.C. area.
Chris first began acting at Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, VA where he appeared in several productions, eventually earning a Cappie© nomination. While attending Penn State University, Chris followed his theatrical passions by starring in numerous plays and musicals as a member of the No Refund Theatre Company.
Since his professional debut in 2011, Chris has received critical acclaim from The Washington Post, The Washington City Paper, MetroWeekly and many other media outlets for his performances. Adept at both comedy and drama, Chris has enjoyed the challenge of playing characters ranging from the madcap and innocent, to the dark and dangerous. He has also lent his talents to podcasts, audiobooks and to local films and commercials.
In 2015, TheatreWashington nominated Chris and his cast for a prestigious Helen Hayes Award© for their work as an ensemble in Failure: A Love Story at The Hub Theatre.
